United States Virgin Islands

Originally discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493 on his second voyage he also named these islands “Las Once Mil Virgenes” or in English 11,000 Virgins in honor of his companion Ursula. These islands became US possessions in 1917 when purchased from Denmark. Things to do in at the city of St. Johns are eco tours, mountain biking rides, and various water activities such as snorkeling and deep sea diving. An Eco tour is where you will go about and travel throughout the rich beauty of the city and the lands surrounding it. You have a choice of how you’d like to explore the island from either an AC controlled bus to either by your own two feet. These are just a few of the stops you can go about on your journey through the Virgin Islands as well as the other cities of St. Croix and St. Thomas.
